What are the terms of participation?
- Age: 18-35 years of age as of November 11, 2018
- Ukrainian heritage
- No criminal record
- Must be residing/resided, studying, or partaking in professional /community activities in the state of New Jersey
No height or weight restrictions.
Ability to speak Ukrainian preferred
What is the first step to become Miss Ukrainian NJ 2018?
Very simple!!
You need to apply before September 25, 2018.
1. Download and fill out the Application form.
2. Prepare one good quality headshot that will be your photo during the casting.
3. Prepare audio/video recording of your statement, which can be done at home or recorded on a cell phone. The statement should be no more than 2 minutes and feature a description of who you are, your Ukrainian heritage, and why you decided to participate in Miss Ukrainian New Jersey 2018. Information about your achievements, awards, talents, and participation in volunteer projects in the US or in Ukraine is not obligatory, but certainly helps your chance of being selected for the Grand Finale. You may add 1-2 video clips showing your achievements, talents, and community involvement.
4. Submit the application via email to suaclifton@gmail.com, including attachments described above (application form, photo, audio/video) or send it via mail to:

5. Send a $100 application fee check. This includes processing of your application, celebratory brunch ticket ($35 value), Grand Finale ticket ($100 value), group photo, and media marketing.

5. What are the next steps to become Miss Ukrainian New Jersey 2018?
a. Come to a celebratory brunch in modern or traditional Ukrainian clothing. The place and date will be determined later; the information will be sent to you by email.
b. After the selection, attend the workshop, photo session, and rehearsal. This will be a one day event. The place and date will be determined later; the information will be sent to you by email.
c. Participate in the Grand Finale! It will be held on November 11, 2018 at the Excelsior Restaurant (190 US 46, Saddle Brook, NJ).
All contestants will receive gifts and presents from our sponsors; complimentary use of garments (Ukrainian embroidered dress and evening gown), with the right to purchase them at the special reduced prices; makeup/hair services; professional photo services; coverage in post-event printed and media materials; and priority in ticket purchasing for friends and family members.
